We were reading Smashing Magazine. an online magazing focused on design, mainly webdesign, and came across an their article on "learning to abstract what you see". The article explains and encourages readers to always think about what you see in everyday life. This will help in creating something amazing with your designs. Take a different route to work, or have a walk to your nearest park. Look at your surroundings, and take note of things that you wouldn't even think of looking at.

We feel that in this day and age where mostly everyone with a mobile phone would have a camera bult in it. Why not just snap anything that you feel is worth looking at twice or more (of course don't be an idiot or a peeping tom and snap pictures of girls without them knowing...that's just rude and an invasion of privacy...you read it here first, FLOW MEDIA DOES NOT CONDONE PEEPING TOMS). Those moments you capture might give you inspiration for your next great masterpiece.

Its been too long

Hello to all.

Its been too long since the last update from us. The holy month of Ramadhan has truly been a testing period for us. From office relocation to server crashes, god has truly given us something to think about. At long last, things are flowing for Flow Media.

As mentioned, the first big news from us is our relocation of our operations office from Ara Damansara to Kota Damansara. We decided we needed a change of scene, and in literally 2 hours of decision making, we picked an office and made the call to view the first office we found on the net. The next day, we went, we looked and we signed. Now we have a new place to call our home away from home. Our operations office is now located at

Just stumbled across a web application called stumbleupon which lets you choose your interests and when generated, the application "stumbles" you across websites or content that is related to the previously selected interests. While browsing through using stumbleupon, I found an article on web design.

Hello people,

We've been reading the latest edition of Digital Arts Magazine (UK), and amidst the excellent tutorials they offer, one advertisement caught our eye.

A company in Abu Dhabi, called twofour54, put an advertisement in the magazine that went something like

" 180 Million animation fans under 25 years of age, and yet the Arabic animation industry is still in its infancy".

It caught our attention, one, because we think it is a market that is yet to be fully utilized (which is pretty obvious in all industries),  and also we as a multimedia community as a whole should look into giving them support and share our experiences and knowledge with that part of the world.
